Nanay Bridge, Peru

At the CWE, aerodynamic undercuts of the Nany Bridge in Peru were carried out. The bridge has a total length of 1,860 m and is being built in the city of Iquitos in the Peruvian rainforest over the 425 m wide Nanay River. Aerodynamic investigations are indispensable for filigree bridge structures of this type. The CWE team conducted all necessary aerodynamic studies in the wind tunnel of the CWE using rigid section models and a fully aeroelastic model of the entire bridge.
